I don’t care what you decide to do with your nonrev benefits. I disagree but I am not going to say anything, even though I think it’s misguided. I think you’d feel differently if the same scenario played out and a family member missed the flight because of above. It’s funny the things we don’t care about until they affect us. This whole thing is absurd.
I will say I find the reverse terrible too. Don’t switch to the jumpseat last minute to get a nonrev on and bump the OAL. That’s lame.
