Go back and re -read all the posts I've made in this thread. I'm not talking about FA jumpseat permissions here. However I do request to see the credentials of those riding in the FA jumpseat on the aircraft I am in command of as well as the cockpit jumpseater(s). The instances I've posted previously in this thread have both happened to me.

You and 4 others have festooned some false power grab on what I prefer to do when truly is not.

I will say, unequivocally, you miss someone that rides on a jumpseat that's not supposed to be there - regardless of flight deck of FA - you will be talking to the Feds about it. I can guarantee you that much.

My method prevents me from having to do that. I did it once, and don't want to go thru that again. I'm just passing on what I do. As others have.

Again, be laissez-faire. I don't care.
