As a mid continent based pilot you’re right I’d fight against it. You already get higher pay because you’re able to hold a much higher position than you could in any mid continent base. As a matter of fact if we had COLA and PS commuting watch how senior those bases go. I would be 50% in SFO as a WB CA or a bottom reserve in a mid continent. There’s the COLA right there. The people who bid the coastal bases already have it built in.
why wouldn’t you just bid SFO WB CA if it is so great with a COLA adjustment? I am sure folks would be happy to take the “junior0 WB CA seats in IAH if SFO goes senior.
