I've been stealing Lew's line about our most powerful leverage being the credible threat of a legal strike with my Captains. I'm willing to press to test that.
i have too, its a great line and a compelling argument. Ive also been adding that this is a once in a generation opportunity to make these gains, we will never again in our careers have leverage fueled by such low supply of qualified pilots. The powers that be WILL manage their way out of the pilot shortage before the next round of CBAs, whether by lowering mins, abinitio, mpl schemes, single pilot, cabotage, or some as yet unknown threat.
Bottom line, if we dont get it now, we may never have the chance.
