I don’t quite understand the Global Reserve rules, but it seems like that would be awful as a commuter? Since your days off can change quite a bit?
I’ve read that the seat lock may be able to be broken by bidding MCO or LAS, but that’s not going to be a guarantee that they’d be available.
I’ve got an app in, competitive hours/resume, and hoping for a call/email soon, but want to be realistic with my spouse about first year or two expectations.
At the moment, even if you get a 777 to EWR or SFO, reserve is relatively short at around 6 months. Always subject to change of the flying contracts, but that’s the reality
right now. They are actually beating some of their NB counterparts to a line.
