Totally false. Right now, they can only reroute you outside of 14 hours if they cannot position a pilot to cover the open time. Other than that, reroutes outside of 14 hours are currently illegal.
Splitting hairs here, but many pilots seem tied to this notion that CS/CT *can’t* do something. CT absolutely can reroute pilots into flying outside of 14 hours. It’s just a much harsher pay treatment.
