Interesting if this comes down to a very low inexperienced FO and a 60+ CA.

Unless the 777 has some extra padding on load factor ratings they probably shouldn't have continued after a high-G event. Especially with flaps out.
I know there’s rumors galore on this. I had heard from a few UAL that it was also a new CA. Not sure if that’s true, or even what they define as new, but might make for an overloaded flight crew in those conditions if both were that fresh.
