In my opinion, transferring of liscense should be last to worry about. You should try atleast land a job, then within that time, im sure you can convert. I've met guys from U.S & the EU who have converted. They find it a piece of cake. Our standard is INCREDIBLE higher than the states. I guess they're following the British. The main thing you need is that degree, which it seems to me that you already have. Regardless of hrs. AC said they wont even look at you without it anymore!

You should talk to them regarding your status if they'd allow you a visa if you get hired... look into it!
