I don't think they are hiring 220 SLIs right now, not enough students but that changes. A NH should try NB, 320 and 73N are growing fleets with the MAX coming we'll need more SLIs.
I know of people who taught on aircraft they couldn't hold but they usually come over from other fleets.
As to the SLC training center, latest is 2Q25 which has slid a year.
