The only trip construction improvements are for the outliers. Look at your trips and tell me how many have back to back <12 hr overnights? How many where the 2.5 hr min day would actually raise the credit of the trip? How many 4 hour sits do you have? I'm a NB pilot and none of those affect my trips. And if they do apply to you, I guarantee the trip credit won't improve by 20%.
