I don't want to be hyperbolic but some of the thought process is almost cult like in how they talk about people leaving here. Nope, not just you. This attitude is probably due to ego or insecurity. It seems that some take it personal when you don’t validate their idea that this place is the best at all times, especially going into perpetuity. So they attack the person’s character or decision making abilities (intelligence). It’s the classic ad hominem that is used when you can’t defend your own position with facts.
