So, your pilot group that you are also apart of goes on strike and lets say... for whatever reason, you decide it would be a bright idea to cross the picket line and operate a flight anyway while your brothers and sisters are on strike (not a good idea). You would then be a scab. If this happens, your name wouldn't be hard to find and you would be placed on the 'list'. Then, good luck jumpseating after that. There are other ways to be a scab too, but this is the most common. All instances involve stabbing your fellow airmen in the back.
Makes sense now...is striking that common here in the US? I haven't seen it so much. God in Italy they strike once a week
