Its 100% of his life) I have so much more then what people see or guess on here.. for me. The math works. I have so many other hobbies and interests and family. That come first. Work is not even second… I go to a major. Sure. I give most of the things i worked for so hard up for a few years. Is it worth it.. nope.. i can ride this gig out and punch out to better things.
And indeed, for you in your stage of your life and career it may well be the thing to do. But it would not appear to be the right thing for the majority of regional pilots - certainly not those just starting out.
