1. The grass truly isn't greener on the other side, it's just a different shade because the owner decided to turn on the sprinkler for a few years and the neighbor's dog didn't sh*t in it last night. EVERY airline has it's problems, when I was on the seniority list at one of the big four we had an equal amount of doomsday prophesying, saber rattling nonsense. Are the paychecks bigger? Absolutely, but does that matter when half of it is going to alimony and child support for the wife and kids you never got to see while commuting across the country living in your crashpad? There's a lot more to life than the money, those who haven't figured that out yet spend a little too much time with their left hand.
Show up, fly your jet, go home and see your family. If you don't like it, stop wasting your breath and show your distaste with your feet, every "greener pasture" is hiring.
I’ve got news for you: it actually is greener on the other side. Just because your “experience” at a legacy was likely during an industry downturn doesn’t make that experience valid today. As for flying your jet and then going home to see your family? This is yet another tired line from someone who is unwilling to accept what the rest of the industry has evolved into. You can do day trips even at the legacies, and it’s not just the senior people getting those trips. Being home every night is not unique to Allegiant any more. And another perk at the legacies? You can drop trips and work a skeleton schedule in order to spend more time at home or manage a side business. When was the last time you saw drops available at G4?
Or you can just keep living in denial…
