Anyone tracking this? Why is this stuff so over the top? I’ll be honest, no one I know cares which way people swing, but lots of people care about overt displays of sexuality like this - whether gay or straight!
If I was traveling to Sydney with my kids and we stumbled upon a drag show (on both departure and arrival btw) and then were further inundated with the pride gear and probably multiple PA announcements on board, I wouldn’t be a happy customer. It’s inappropriate, and it’s not anti-LGBT to say that out loud. This stuff has gone far over the line. If there were women in bikinis dancing provocatively at the gate, would that be acceptable? No of course not, so why is this?
Why does UAL have to insert themselves (no pun intended) into these types of situations?!? By catering to one small group, they are alienating a much larger group.
