I did so for seniority progression, but to be honest, after a year, my seniority would be the same on either fleet. I also heard that the trips are better on the 73 . On most of my trips, coming from the West Coast, I don’t really have enough time or daylight to explore too much anyway, so it doesn’t matter whether I’m in Boston or Omaha. There are two big ways in which the 737 is better though, in my opinion: there are many more pilots to trade in and out of trips with, and the 73 usually flies one leg less a day than the bus.
