Seeking any input from the handful of pilots that I have heard about that have made the switch from a legacy to JB and your thoughts on wether it was worth it. I realize this will not be taken well from many as many are at JB to try and get to a legacy but it’s a personal choice for me when it comes to QOL and work culture. Any input would be appreciated especially those that have made this jump or turned down a legacy. TIA
BOS is the one unique base we have at JB that isn’t easily replicated elsewhere. Yes, AA has a small base in BOS but it would be a considerable sacrifice in upgrade time/QOL compared to JB. If BOS is where you want to live then I would absolutely chose JB over anyone else. You’ll have more schedule options vs the standard commuter life of 4day trips each week.
