It can be extended by only a single day, reduced, altered in some other way in either or both bid periods, or canceled altogether. Once altered, the new rotation is referred to as a transition pairing and carries full rotation guarantee just as any other rotation. Asterisk rotation changes are posted before 1800E on the 4th.
