I'm not angry, I'm resolved and somewhat relieved.

We've finally gotten to the point where there are no more excuses: we've taken out most of the trash on the MEC and there is a now baseline-setting contract at DAL.

So now it's time for Kirby to stand and deliver or to show that his words were complete puffery. As others have said, the next few weeks will be very telling as to which case will be true.

My prediction is that the next company line will be that UA-ALPA's ask is so unreasonably high or complex that a deal can't be reached in the "couple of weeks" window. I hope I'm wrong on that, though.
