Signatures are dumb. For whatever reason, our local fed won't allow ACARS pin as a primary method. Don't ask me why.
Can't be the ATL FSDO. At ASA we used ACARS employee # and can't remember if we used a PIN as well but I didn't see the signature silliness til I got to Delta.
