JL was very ho hum about the potential A350-1000 yesterday on the town hall. Our contract is done and signed so I don’t think that’s what was holding the company up. There has been some speculation about pricing, particularly from RR. But Airbus just booked orders from Air India and Lufthansa so they probably aren’t hard pressed to sell them at a loss to us.
Same source. We have a lot of flex capacity with 717, 757, and 767s we can reactive. Sounded to me like we are good regardless of Airbus delays and no new order.
