Depends on your definition of wide body. 7ER (757/767) is easily accessed in a bid if you can’t hold LAX but can get the 7ER in another base. Training capacity can mean a fleet is not available in every class.

If you want the mostly international wide body fleets, 350/330/765(767-400), then no those are not accessible to new hires or really till you get 6000+ pilots minimum below you. That is hurt by there only being SEA330 and LAX350 available on the west coast. Rumors that SLC will get the 330 continue but closing the SEA7ER will negate much of the junior access out west. LAX will have to grow the 350 base a bit at some point but the junior FO is sub 7000 on the list.

Short answer is junior wide body FO outside of LAX7ER (not a lot of international availability, that goes quite senior), is not really an option at this time.
