I believe gojet just announced today a $135k DEC bonus. Why stay at Mesa for a lousy 10k upgrade, when you can go to Gojet, get 135k, and still be in the aviate program?

Dosnt make sense for force. People will leave in droves. Everyone is desperate for 1k hour pilots now.
Counterpoint, what good does an FO who doesn't want to upgrade do? If they leave, they have plenty on reserve and desperate CFIs would line up to knock on the door of any regional now. If 3 out of every eligible FOs leaves and 1 upgrades, that's still a dice worth rolling for the balance sheet
