I get excited when I can peg 3500 fpm at T/O power, empty, cool day, high pressure, shallow rotation to get some airspeed to trade off and, sustain that climb rate through 1000' AGL. The ATR is a big ole beast, but i bet we can make the first turn off! ;o)
haha I knew exactly what you were talking about before I even saw what kind of airplane. Crawling up to 15,000 at 500fpm is fun, too.
