I heard rumors of the msp base shrinking the crj routes, so I'd like to choose a base that has consistent flying and won't disappear if I move there for a year and sign an apartment lease or something. Is this happening with other bases?

*Also side note, does SkyWest ever convert anyone from the crj to the erj before upgrade training? I originally picked erj but switched when they canceled all the classes. I read the handbook and know there's a two year freeze period, but things are constantly changing.
