Do that , otherwise when that chance of a mutual base exchange via different equipment is near rare, to get to phx a320. Also bid each vacancy for phx and you can hold it it’s yours. Now if you bid 737 some base cause you decide it’s an easier commute or somthing and bid the vacancy to a320 phx. You can get it awarded but They can withhold your training event to change equipment for up to 12 months. Which is highly likely because new hires are the priority. Not an equipment change. So you could potentially wait another 12 months to get the base you want. So if base and wuipment is not available at the time of your new hire vlass
drop. Then you need to bid the equipment that is in your base. For places like Miami or dfw etc that has both 737 and Airbus. Doesn’t matter. You can make it in either plane. But phl and phx. Only have the bus. I recommend you bid for the bus. It’s your fastest path back to base.
