As of today, it’s on the 73 and is about a year and a half, BUT…. Not sure why you are asking, but if there are any life decisions or spousal promises involved, be careful/wary of counting on that.

While it’s possible that timeline may work out for someone in the future, that’s very unlikely. For one, there has been massive hiring since that Jr SLC Captain was hired (over 4,000 pilots). How long will it take DL to hire another 4000? Not 18 months… In addition, the new contract will likely improving domestic rotations, and the pay raises will make the jump more palatable. There is a genuine risk that ‘speed’ will not be attainable, and will actually begin to get more senior. Who knows? We are living in crazy times, after all…
