Specifically:

"Sorry they havnt called you after a having your app in for a couple months sounds extremely frustrating."

Generations change. I wouldn't wish what happened during the first 20 years of my aviation career on anyone. That was what I was dealt. I am genuinely happy for those who are not being put through was I was put through.

I applied to Alaska when the window first opened in 2011 or 2012. Wasn't hired until 2018. I'm not going to belittle someone for their experience just because I had to wait 7 years for a job at one of my last choices of "major" airlines. Todays frustrating wait is just a blink of an eye compared to yesterdays normal but that is comparing apples to oranges.

I'm not going to take out my frustrations and bad luck on a new FO who just happened to get lucky in terms of when they were born.
