We still get on this forum because fools like you try to convince unwitting pilots that G4 is the place to be. You’re either management or you’re a senior pilot. Either way, your experience at Allegiant in no way reflects what new hires will have to deal with. Your anecdotal stories about an FO being able to commute within 30 mins of landing are also the exception, not the rule. Why is the FO commuting when you bill G4 as the home every night airline? Throw in a god-awful schedule with some of the lowest pay in the industry. And if they get their base of choice? They’ll be eternally junior because it’s such a young pilot group. Then throw in some involuntary monthly-long TDYs, possibly across the country, with little hope for spending much time at home. Again though, you wouldn’t know any of this because you’re likely one of the lucky ones who got in at the right time.

So if I can save just one pilot from making a terrible choice with their career, it’s well worth the effort of still posting on this forum to counter you and the others’ BS.
