The few junior guys who didn't tip tended to be weirdos from the 2015/2016 hiring binge, when 9E really did hire anyone and everyone.
I’m a lost decade guy myself.
My regional career was pretty rough.
But I always tipped.
Everyone I flew with always tipped. Even when we were making pretty much nothing. I mean, humping several hundred bags into and out of a van each day is kind of physical work. Throw the guy/gal a little bone or two.
Maybe my experience was an outlier, but it was notable to me. FWIIW, the non-tippers were pretty young looking.
Ive been flying for airlines for a while, and the only other time I have ever seen non tippers was a SKYW crew-but we know those folks have all kinds of issues
