This is all because of wiring harnesses beyond 1" separation. The actual separation was 1-1/4". Why ground 500+ planes from several companies for one-quarter of an inch? It is the FAA flexing their muscles. Absurd...Could have been taken care of on a maintenance schedule. It isnt going to create a fuel pump explosion potential.
