Solid plan. Won't happen. Harmonization and fleet simplification rule the day. 220 is a different type(not really an airbus). AA can get 3 jets worked from 1 training program. They're going to squeeze every last dime out of the 319s. Maybe we can get more for cheAAp from JetBlue when they chaff the handful left that Spirit has.
The last I heard, AA was looking at another life extension and planning on keeping all current A32F aircraft through 2030. But, no longer actively looking for used ones.
