Listen to Vasu's town hall meeting. They seem pretty happy with the 30+ 787s and 50 321XLRs that are coming in the next couple of years. Throw in a handful of 737s and that is about all of the growth that AA can handle right now.
Domination of the smaller markets of Europe seem to be the goal moving forward, and nothing in Asia. Shannon, Stuttgart, Amsterdam, Brussels, Hamburg, Edinburgh, etc... are all on the menu.
Yep, he even specifically said they won't even start the process of looking for new aircraft until 2027. What we have now and what we have on order is all we are going to get for the rest of this decade I'm afraid.
