Actually CAL will have to send out another RFP. The proposal CHQ submitted to CAL was contingent upon using airplanes that XJT was supposed return to CAL. Now that CHQ cannot use those airplanes, all of numbers/costs they submitted in their original proposal to CAL aren't valid.

I see 2 possible scenarios:

1) CAL puts out a new RFP and may the best regional win the bid.

OR

2) CAL does not put out a new RFP. XJT just increases the aircraft utilization on the remaining 205 aircraft it will still fly for CAL.

As it stands today, CHQ will not do any flying for CAL in my opinion. The only way this would change is if CAL puts out a new RFP and CHQ is awarded a new contract.
