I delayed going to my 121 regional by 6 months for a retention bonus at my Part 91 job many many years ago. That ultimately cost me money, time, and seniority at mainline because of the way things worked out with Covid. You can easily credit 100+ hours /month as a new hire picking up greenslips. There’s a guy from my new hire class who is literally crediting 150+ every month. Don’t delay seniority in the current hiring/economic environment for a few thousand bucks.
