Philly is horrible as a city, as an airport even as a hub.
The only reason it exists is because there was no competition for Usair and no slots.
The only reason PHL exists as a hub is because it's cheap and Parker was cheap. Allegheny County Airport Authority tried to play hardball with him and lost, which is why PIT is a ghost town now. It was the far superior hub.
