It’s nice you have a successful wife and the burden of providing a nice life to your family is drastically mitigated. For those of us in the other camp that a 20% pay cut over the last 4 years 2 months is making us choose between saving for retirement and saving for our kids college we need to stand our ground. We finally need good contract! This is the worst contract I’ve worked under in my career including a 135 operator and a regional airline. I’m tired of having my days off regularly rolled. I’m tired of making less than my peers and having a worse qol and less time off. And I’m tired of this group being so weak and afraid to stand up for yourselves and this profession. Go grow a pair!
