The age 65 increased sucked...and came at a particularly bad time. Just like then, the people who will make the decision don't care about any of us (or our finances). The only ones who got the windfall with the age 65 increase have long retired. With the exception of a few hundred older pilots we're all in the same boat. Age 60 to 65 was implemented horribly, one date and boom 5yrs stagnation. If we had any politicians/ regulators with intelligence, they would've staggered it in over like 10yrs by raising the age one year every two years. Then it wouldn't have shocked the system so hard.
