honestly, there’s not an effective way of predicting it for a new hire. Sure, someone hired 6 months ago has been awarded NYC7ER, but that doesn’t mean someone hired today will have the same option in 6 months. Similarly, MSP and ATL 320A are fairly senior compared to other bases, but a 4-year upgrade in those bases means nothing since there’s 4000 pilots between those 4-year captains and a new hire.
I was hired at a regional that had 11-month CRJ upgrades. I spent almost 7 years in the right seat waiting for the first possible upgrade. Today’s number doesn’t mean much.
that said, the plug ATL320A this month is an oct21 hire.
ATL73NA is mar2022.
ATL330B is mar20
Msp73NA is sep17
msp320A is jul16
msp330B is dec16.
