To get back to the original topic of this post and looking for input. Currently at WN with ~ 6 months on property. Live in a base that houses a UAL base to the north of it. Have enjoyed my time thus far. But, with 37 years of flying to go, and the current hiring craze, I find myself considering. Have had many a conversation with the better half and just have yet been able to get myself to commit. Any input would be appreciated.
Well, Chicago has unfilled 737 Captain spots. You can upgrade once off probation, if that interests you. Or bid over to the 787 if you want (there’s no 777 in ORD). Or the 756. Or Airbus.
Or I guess just fly the 737 for 37 years.
