Delta has a bereavement clause that allows pilots to drop up to 4 days reserve or up to a 4 day trip WITH pay. Does United have a similar policy of drop and pay protection?. I used it 5/6 times over 30 years.
You get 4 days per person. So, wife gets sick...4 days. Son has surgery, 4 different days. Son gets sick again....no days left for him. Parent dies....4 other days.
