You’re not reading the whole situation clearly.
1. We asked for industry leading pay rates (maybe? Who knows).
2. Company says no deal.
3. This plan was suggested by the mediator instead of industry leading pay rates (or whatever we asked for)
4. we are now entertaining this plan which means we are entertaining less than industry leading pay rates.
if there are concessions in what we have already TA’d, you can guarantee the company is gonna fight hard on rates so that when they finally come to an agreement, guys will be so worn down they’ll vote yes.
