Not sure if this is 100% true.
You are able to bid Left Seat once your probation is over (and some other caveats).
You are seat locked with regards to bidding into another aircraft that pays same or less.
Right seat to Left seat pays more.

oh, and there is also something about new bases being opened that does away with certain seat locks.

That being written- any newhire who gets a 78/77 FO slot in BI can expect to be there until the 2 yr time frame expires UNLESS they consider TPA as a “new base” once it’s allowed to be a satellite base of MCO- with a new TA.

Also have to wonder if we won’t be looking at PHX or BOS by the end of next year…
