I'm sorry, but this is absolutely not true of her experience transitioning. From being called "it" to having another pilot walk up to her in the jetbridge and yell "HEY <insert male name>, YOU STILL IN THERE?!" directly into her face. That pilot received some time off, at least, and we didn't all receive sensitivity training because of it.
Regardless though, the fact that everybody knows about what cairns and talks about her is actually a good indicator that we COULD use some DEI training.
