Obviously they can't really seriously injure the role player in an exercise, but getting roughed up while thinking it was real could be traumatizing. Like really.
it would probably be awhile before I could sleep in a hotel again. And even at that hearing a bump in the night or a knock at the door would probably throw me back to getting water boarded by the gestapo in the middle of the night. (Depending on how bad it was. But I can only imagine someone who is playing a scenario where a WMD might be involved might be “motivated” to make you talk)
this could totally eff someone up.
I hope he is able to get big$$$ out of the FBI and the hotel, (plus get at least a couple people disciplined/fired) but I just don’t see the government holding themselves accountable like they should.
