They can’t start a trip on your day off. It has to start on your regular reserve day and go into your FDO or RDO. They are theoretically only supposed to disrupt a day off if no one else is available to do the trip.

Everyone is on long call to start. 13 hours to departure. You are likely to be escalated to short call for some of your reserve days. 2.5 hours is short call out. There’s also field standby which is 4 hours at the airport.

If you live in base then Global Reserve isn’t bad. Commuting to it sucks. You don’t get used a whole lot. I think system wide the 777 FO had 35% reserve day usage in February. 787 FO was 25% I believe. So lots of sitting potentially.
So global reserve means they can do whatever they want with you on whichever days they choose with anywhere from a zero to 13 hour call out? If I’m even remotely understanding that then you folks seriously need a new contract with crap like that taken out.
