May/June AIP= August/Sept/even Oct memrat. Tactical for sure..and just in time for school to start and the departures begin cooling until the holidays. AAL will take the lead this summer.
Bad move if so. A great contract w/ long implementation timeline would pass easily & salvage some goodwill. Delays just increase labor/management tension. A summer schedule flown by disgruntled pilots may not necessarily be the cost-saving solution some would hope.
