Seniority atm is pretty good in chicago as an FO. I mean im a few years in and people have left in front of me.
unfortunately ive already got a class date with UA which kinda sucks as by now what was assumed was that a new contract was going to be out there. Now on the UA boards they are saying a new contract is going to be 1-2 years away.

No way the new UAL contract is 2 years away… Kirby is waiting on Isom and AA to go first because in his mind Isom ****ed him over by surpassing UALs deal while it was being voted on (ignoring the fact that he conspired with TI to get him the ALPA presidency in return for a management friendly contract that was concessionary in nature that riled up the pilot group to vote no).
UAL NPS has already started taking a hit due to dragging out negotiations with pilots and lost goodwill affecting customer interactions and 100 planes are showing up this year at United. Unless management plans on parking an equivalent number of old airframes for next summer, there’s no way they can afford to drag out negotiations for 2 years. It doesn’t make any sense for Kirby to burn his own house down by waiting longer than he has too… if he does, Robert Isom is going to be popping his popcorn over the flames.
