There are two things here. One is that M+ is consistently late by 5-10 minutes. (Since you don't open it until after you make your nest, it doesn't affect you).
The second is that you need to go search in the dark. There is no notification on your iPad that the flight plan is ready.
I disagree that it's an exaggeration to say both of those things are negative and need to be fixed.
While a notification would be nice, the html flight plan doesn't notify you either. In my case I don't open mission+ until late enough for the most part that the flight plan pops up as ready on open so I didn't even know it wasn't a thing.
