Anyway, I got the job, as a low time pilot, and the chief pilot told me that one of things that impressed him about me was that I had taken the initiative to do all those practice approaches on my own, even though the sim time could not be credited towards any rating. So perhaps airlines do look at FTD time after all. Hmmm... Just a thought.
I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say it was a mesa interview panel that said that
